Following the first Democratic presidential debate Wednesday night, pundits across the political spectrum are in universal agreement: Beto O’Rourke is ready to advance in his Rosetta Stone lessons.

“He really showed us what he was made of,” Van Jones said on CNN’s post debate show. “We all saw it. Maybe not presidential, but his Spanish is at like AP high school level.”

Even conservatives echoed those statements.

“I will admit, Beto really impressed me,” Fox News’ Sean Hannity said. “I’ve been trying to perfect my French for years and can’t stay committed to it. I really admire that dedication.”

Pundits were also not sure though if he was at all qualified to be president on substance or experience, or if his policy positions had any merit.
