‘To be honest, the eggs were a little dry,’ mom tells culinarily inept child

The reviews are in for one mother’s day brunch, and they weren’t great.

Local mom Catherine Morren let her fairly untalented daughter know she kinda botched Mother’s Day brunch, with dry eggs, burnt toaster and a watered down mimosa.

“To be honest, the eggs were a little dry,” Morren told her daughter Liza, 5. “The champagne in the mimosa was definitely flat. Have you ever even made one? In most situations I’d send it back, but because I’m your mother and I love you I didn’t.”

Morren left her daughter with some encouragement, saying she has an entire year to get it right for next time.
