Shortly before polls closed, a Michigan voter was overheard muttering “shit, I don’t either of them” before reportedly just bubbling in Andrew Yang.
Jon Thorson, 54, had only casually followed the race for months and had often told people he liked “that Yang guy.” Once Yang dropped out of the race earlier this year, Thorson hadn’t really considered who would be his second choice.
“Biden seems like he’s losing it, Bernie is a socialist,” Thorson muttered at the polling place. “Fuck, I’ll just go with Yang.”
Sources say Thorson was overheard openly questioning why he bothered to go vote when he hated both major candidates.
