Star Wars fans were shocked and dismayed Friday after reading leaks from the script of ‘Rise of Skywalker,’ that the film is mostly a screwball comedy staring Adam Sandler, Kevin James and David Spade.
Within the first 15 minutes of the film, all the main characters from episodes 7 and 8 are displaced in an incoherent start to the movie. However, from there, Sandler, James and Spade appear for a raucous next two hours and 45 minutes of “laugh out loud fun for the whole family,” according to leaks.
The film ends with Sandler hilariously killing Emperor Palpatine – who returns as a clone somehow or something – with Rob Schneider yelling “you can do it!”
