Just days into the new year, people are realizing that, not only are the goals they have set for 2020 too high, they have not completed one goal they set for 2019.

In order to adjust accordingly, experts suggest simply taking last year’s resolutions, crossing out 2019, and writing 2020 on that list. This is a process they are calling “new year, same me” in which we are encouraged to love ourselves regardless of the fact that we are abject failures who should accept that we will be deficient in every area we are resolved to improve this year.

The Hamster has adopted the process.
