The Hamster can confirm from visiting several local grocery stores that this month is a great excuse to buy an illogical amount of candy without any shame, so long as you tell yourself it’s for Halloween if anyone asks.
It doesn’t need to be for Halloween, but knowing that is a valid reason if anyone is looking at you funny justifies buying that giant bag of Reese’s Cups. Buying 4-5 is actually fair.
