A local man is being roasted online for finally taking his ice bucket challenge in a week filled mostly with protest-related social media content.
Nick Janson, 29, posted the video of him taking the ice bucket challenge outside Wednesday, and nominated three of his friends to do the same. They – and others – did not receive it well.
“That’s not what we’re social mediaing right now,” one friend wrote.
“Read the room,” another said.
Janson said he didn’t notice he was nominated until just now, and wanted to make sure he did his part to fight ALS. As of late Wednesday afternoon, he’s deleted the post and gone private on all accounts.
