With some time to process New York losing 25,000 would-be jobs with Amazon’s change of plans, some confused New Yorkers see it as a good thing as it helps their chances at the top pick in next year’s Amazon draft, an event which does not exist.
Though the event does not exist, New Yorkers – who have been focused on the Knicks tanking to acquire the top pick in the NBA draft – seem to believe if their Amazon jobs numbers are terrible, they can acquire the top pick from Amazon’s online store next year, or trade the pick for New Orleans Pelicans’ star Anthony Davis.
Experts have said all of this is impossible
