A lifelong peanut allergy has finally killed Mr. Peanut, who was exposed to peanuts by being a peanut.
Planters announced Mr. Peanut’s death on his Twitter account – now named “The Estate of Mr. Peanut” – to much mourning on social media. Planters did not get into all of the details of his passing, but many were coming to his defense that Mr. Peanut did not kill himself.
