A drunken bar fight at a finally-open local watering hole is serving as a refreshing reminder that things are returning to normal, slowly but surely.

The Downtown Bar & Tap & Grill & Eatery had been closed for most of the pandemic but recently reopened its doors as restrictions were loosened. As employees there began to readjust to life ‘open’ again, it wasn’t until a drunken bar fight between a bunch of dude bros that it was realized we are slowly starting to return to normal.

“It’s heartwarming to see,” DBTGE owner Jay Oaten said as he kicked the group out of his bar. “It’s been such a rough year. But this is a sweet reminder of the way things used to be.”

The Hamster can confirm as of 8 p.m. EST one of the now-banned individuals was seen throwing up in an alley behind the bar, a staple of pre-2020 life.
