A local family has adopted a dog that identifies as a rabbit after their landlord told them that no dogs are allowed in the home.
Self-described “dog people” MacKenzie and Bryan Martin said that the decision to adopt the unusual pet was an easy one.
“We are responsible tenants and would never want to do anything that the landlord has asked us not to do,” Bryan told The Velvet Hamster. “So, when we decided to get a pet, this was just the perfect solution. Plus, we’re making a lot of money on YouTube by having a trans-species pet.”
The Martins said that their rabbit, Bunilla Ice, is working on basic obedience and has mostly stopped barking.
