With Bloomberg refusing to stand on a box for the Democratic Debate, producers have been forced to lower the floor for the other candidates in order to mask the disparity in their stature.
“We weren’t really expecting it,” one candidate told us on condition of anonymity. “The floor just started moving. I almost broke a hip.”
Reps for Bloomberg declined comment, but sources tell us he paid $3 billion for this feature.
