A local couple was forced to give up its first-born son after a hasty decision to agree to the terms and conditions without reading.
The father was registering an account on a food delivery service when clicking the “I agree to the terms and conditions” button without much reading at all. He calls it a mistake.
“In hindsight, I should have read the terms and conditions,” said Mike Brader, 41, of Sioux Falls. “They’re just so long. I figured they didn’t have anything weird in them at least. Oh well.”
Door Dash now has custody of the child.
