Despite the best efforts of Hollywood’s elite, experts confirmed Monday that the world was three Golden Globes acceptance speeches short of solving most of our problems, including climate change and terrorism.
Actors, actresses, directors and writers tried their very best – despite show host Ricky Gervais telling them no one cares – to preach about critical issues facing our nation and the entire world. As authorities on subjects like the environment and foreign policy, they rallied their peers in many acceptance speeches Sunday night, but were unfortunately just a few short of making a difference. Experts who studied the speeches and their effects on the world concluded just three more would have done the trick.
Celebrities may look to intensify their speeches for the Oscars and Emmys, and maybe then all the world’s problems will be solved.
