Months after needing to apologize to Native Americans in the wake of her DNA test showing she wasn’t one of them, Elizabeth Warren has decided to issue a second apology, this time to white people for being one of them.

“I am sincerely sorry that you have to live with me being one of you,” Warren said in a press release. “It brings me no joy to know I may be bringing pain to your lives by my association.”

White people, through a spokesperson, accepted her apology but said that a healing process is necessary to be OK with her being one of them.
