In an unusual move, Breitbart News has purchased an abandoned former Babies “R” Us location in Roseville, Mich. in an attempt to “own the cribs,” a spokesman with the organization said.

Breitbart’s venture into retail baby products was unexpected, but something the media group says will pay off.

“We feel the acquisition of this former Babies “R” Us location puts us in an excellent position to own the cribs,” Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow said. “We’re moving from liberal tears, to cranky infant tears.”

Breitbart reportedly made the purchase for just pennies on the dollar of what it was once sold for. Breitbart may also look to bring back Geoffrey the Giraffe – the former Toys “R” Us mascot – but as a frog.
