A survey of local businesses that could be bothered have confirmed that, while employees will remain at their desks or online at home through Wednesday, we shouldn’t expect anything to be done after Monday afternoon.
“The office is only closed on Thursday and Friday,” one source told us. “But Monday through Wednesday is dedicated to doing the absolute minimum to appear busy.”
Many employees are filling their days instant messaging, locating and correcting people who are wrong on social media, and finding early deals for Black Friday.
