Sources close to soon-to-be presidential candidate Joe Biden have said the former vice president is actually pleased that questions of his physical contact with women are dominating the news cycle, as it distracts from his nearly 50 years in public office.
“No one likes career politicians these days,” Biden reportedly said to one of his political advisers. “I mean, the the groping news isn’t great, but can you imagine how people would feel if they knew I’ve been in politics since 1972?”
Biden’s team is hoping to keep a tight lid on his decades in public office.
