Upon news that U.S. Senator and presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is in fact a millionaire, U.S. Senator and presidential candidate Bernie Sanders criticized Sanders as an “out-of-touch” millionaire trying to use his wealth to buy the presidency.

“We don’t need people like Bernie Sanders running for president,” Sanders said. “His massive fortune shows he can’t relate to the plight of the working class.”

Sanders urged voters to consider voting for one of the many other candidates besides Sanders, recommending in particular Bernie Sanders. Sanders says that – unlike Sanders – Sanders is a champion of working people.
