Former President Barack Obama has endorsed his former VP Joe Biden for president the day after Biden’s only competition did so.
Swayed by the endorsement of Bernie Sanders, Obama has finally been convinced also to endorse the sole remaining candidate with any chance of a win in 2020. This comes after giving brief consideration to Trump.
A course close to Obama, who knows Biden’s executive skills better than anyone, reports that he was heard to ask “There’s no one else? Literally no one? Who did Bernie endorse?” in the days leading up to this announcement.
