An American unfamiliar with the holiday Boxing Day has beaten the crap out of at least 12 people, as he has taken things too literally.
James Fitmon, 31, saw “Boxing Day” on his Google calendar and worried he was unprepared. He immediately ran outside and punched several pedestrians.
“I feel like this is an honest mistake,” Fitmon told the Hamster, and the police arresting him. “Name it something else if you don’t want this kind of confusion.”
The Hamster is checking in across the country to make sure this mistake hasn’t happened elsewhere, and if it has, to make sure people are prepared to cover up against punches.
