A measles outbreak earlier this Spring in Michigan led many anti-vaccination parents to turn to whatever they can to protect their families, such as crystals, essential oils and Vernors.

“When I was growing up, my mom always gave me a Boston Cooler when I was sick and I literally never got the measles,” said Ashley Kintzmiller of Royal Oak. “I want the same thing for my kids, but without the vaccinations my mom gave me without my consent.”

There is no scientific evidence Vernors will stop the measles, but it has been known to work for other devastating illnesses, like upset tummies.
