A nervous aide to Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam cried out in fear Monday as the governor put on the wrong mask when trying to demonstrate proper COVID-19 safety.

Northam put on what he called his everyday mask instead of the n95 surgical mask most people wear. When the aide saw him putting it on, he screamed it terror.

“Wrong mask!” the young staffer shouted, interrupting Northam has he chose the white hood over a black mask, though he originally couldn’t decide which suits him. “That’s not OK to wear!”

Northam began to moonwalk to smooth things after he realized his mistake.
