Popular salad dressing make Wish-Bone has rereleased its Russian dressing with mustard and blue jello flavors to make a statement in support of Ukraine.
The move comes as several businesses make statements against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Like those businesses, Wish-Bone said Tuesday it does not support the military action and hopes its stand will help promote peace in Eastern Europe.
“Wish-bone stands for peace,” the company said in its statement. “Whether you’re enjoying a salad with ranch, red wine vinaigrette or our limited edition #StandWithUkraine mustard and blue jello, you should do so in peace and safety. No more war, more salad.”
Putin has yet to respond, but sources in Russia say the leader is feeling pressure continuing pressure from world leaders and salad dressing companies.
