In leaked documents to the Velvet Hamster, Democrats’ 2020 election strategies – among a wide range of options – include the possibility of trying to vote harder.

Democrats have discussed behind closed doors which candidates present the best path to victory, what candidates message should be, and most recently, the idea of voting twice as hard as they did in 2016. Some high ranking Democrats believe that was a big part of the party’s problem in the last presidential election.

“Our get out the vote efforts need to be stronger,” one memo read. “This can include getting more people to vote for our candidate, or alternatively, getting the people who are already on our side to vote twice as hard. The latter seems to be the easier option.”

Hamster polling shows no change in mock elections if Democrats vote harder.
