Health data shows a 125% increase in vaccinations after a misleading “Green Shots!” St. Patrick’s Day promotion.
The promotion – which promised free green shots, in some cases two free shots – led to massive lines at vaccination sites this Wednesday.
“We thought that offering green injections was going to be a great way to get people vaccinated and get this lockdown nonsense ended,” said Jeff Cogas, Director of Vaccinations at the vaccination place.
Believing the promotion to refer to alcoholic shots, clinics were surprised to be overrun by green-clad drunks clamoring to increase their state of inebriation.
“In retrospect,” Cogas said, “we can see how that could be misleading.”
All parties involved said they hope we can take our masks off by next St. Patrick’s Day.
