Donald Glover, creator and star of the award-winning FX series Atlanta, announced some significant changes to the show this week in the wake of Georgia’s new voting law, including completely changing the show’s name and setting.

“In protest of Georgia’s new law, our show is changing its name from Atlanta to Cleveland,” Glover said in a press release.

“Instead of following up-and-coming rapper ‘Paper Boi’ as he navigates the complexities of the Atlanta hip hop scene and all that comes with newfound fame, the show will now follow ‘Jake,’ a guy who kind of just exists in Cleveland.”

While the show may not be captivating enough to win Emmys like it has previously, the Hamster is confident the show will accomplish the feat of capturing just how boring the city of Cleveland is.
