Amidst calls for comprehensive immigration reform, President Donald Trump has proposed a new path to citizenship by adding escape rooms to the most crowded border detention facilities.

Should a family or group of detainees be able to solve the clues needed to unlock the room in the hour allotted, they instantly begin their new lives as American citizens. If they failed to do so, they would be placed back into detention to face an uncertain future.

“Escape rooms are popular,” Trump said. “I’m popular, and immigration reform is popular. This plan is going to be very, very popular.”

When asked by CNN’s Jim Acosta how this was any different from “other fascist escape rooms throughout history,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders responded by setting his press credentials on fire.
