President Donald Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden have finally agreed on a debate format for the Oct. 15 debate, with the entire thing taking place on Twitter.

Both candidates agreed on debate rules as follows:

  • Each candidate will get 270 characters per round. No threads allowed.
  • Each candidate gets two minutes to respond in follow up tweet. If they don’t respond in time, they forfeit their tweet for that round.
  • Networks post debate spin rooms will declare winners based off amount of RTs and likes. If a candidate ends the night ratio’ed, he is disqualified from the election.

The debate will begin at 8 p.m. CT and conclude around 2:00 a.m. CT the following day.
