Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s restrictive stay-at-home order is getting even more restrictive, as she announced Tuesday that the floor outside everyone’s home in the Wolverine State is actually lava.

Whitmer’s order banned traveling to another person’s home in state, and is now adding the addendum that all streets and sidewalks are lava. Many think this is going too far, but Whitmer says it’s imperative to protect the state.

“I repeat, the floor outside is lava,” Whitmer said in a press conference. “Additionally, if you step on a crack you will break your mother’s back. This is serious.”

Michiganders are said to be skeptical of her warning, but are mostly staying home just in case there actually is lava, as well as coronavirus.
