Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker defended his strict stay-at-home orders again Thursday, saying that the science is on his side in deciding Illinoisans need to live in plastic bubbles until the end of times.

“Look, the data is clear,” Pritzker said condescendingly to reporters. “You need to live in these plastic bubbles until the end times. I don’t make the rules, folks. This virus is trying to destroy us. Putting yourself in these bubbles is a matter of life and death.”

Pritzker would not answer questions about why he himself won’t go in a bubble, but did say that the bubbles will be taxed as property.
