As school districts across the country begin closing for the academic year, plans are being made to make up for lost days with doubleheaders in the fall.

Teachers and the students’ union agreed to the plan Tuesday morning that would require Monday doubleheaders in September and October of the next academic year to fulfill what was lost this year. They will be day/night doubleheaders, so the kids will have a break in between before night classes commence.

This plan was picked over a similar plan to have students all take classes in one domed classroom in Arizona.
