Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore – who just announced his second run for the U.S. Senate – is confident he could win a close race, as none of his vengeful ex-girlfriends are old enough to vote yet and swing the race against him.

“This is going to be a tough fight,” Moore told supporters Friday. “We need every last one of you. Luckily none of my former flames are old enough to make a difference in this race, so we have that going for us.”

Moore also stated he’s vehemently opposed to Democrats’ idea of lowering the voting age to 16, saying it opens the door to a range of political opponents he’s ghosted.
