A copy editor at a local newspaper is excited for President Donald Trump’s potential impeachment, as he swears he has the perfect “you’re fired” pun headline ready to go.
“This is hilarious,” Phil Forthoff, 29, told coworkers. “It’s so creative. I just really hope this happens so I can use this joke.”
“I feel like all that j-school education pays off for stuff like this. People are going to be blown away.”
Forhoff has said to be workshopping other headlines in case Trump isn’t impeached, but those are less funny, making that outcome less desirable.
