A new poll on the potential 2024 presidential field finds that largely no one wants to think about the topic, so pollster should stop asking about it.
Likely voters were presented with former President Donald Trump, former Vice President Mike Pence, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley as potential options to be the 2024 Republican nominee for president. Overwhelmingly winning was “why the fuck are we being asked about this, we just had an election?” DeSantis was in second with 8% of the vote.
When voters were also asked if they felt the country was on the right track or wrong track, they mostly said “please stop” and cited fatigue and not wanting to pay attention to shit for a second.
