As pressure continues to mount on New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo for concealing nursing home deaths, the governor is pushing back by pointing out how many seemingly dead people actually look alive.
“Look at all these alive people, look at how alive these totally alive people are,” Cuomo said at a press conference. “We did nothing wrong. Shame on you all for trying to say we killed these totally alive people. These people are still alive because we kept them alive. We totally didn’t kill them, and we’re totally not going to kill you.”
The presser abruptly ended once one of the “alive people” fell to the ground and lost a hand, leading Cuomo to call aides over to shuffle it to the trash. Cuomo nor the alive people took any questions.
