A Hamster investigation into Amazon’s treatment of its employees has found that its average worker has yet to visit space – a shameful fact given Jeff Bezos just did.

Of Amazon’s nearly 800,000 employees, far less than half have been remotely close to space, with many instead working long, grueling hours for $15 an hour on Earth. Bezos, meanwhile, recently conveniently left his job as CEO to go visit space, a luxury not afforded to most Amazon employees. This hypocrisy has left companies around the planet – this planet – feeling the pressure to update their office policies and allow their employees to go to space.

Amazon did not return request for comment on if they plan to launch its employees into space as most feel they should, but we will continue to update this story as it develops.
