Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker told reporters Wednesday that he didn’t understand complaints about the state’s strict closure, as residents should just pick one of their mansions to stay in and relax.

“I don’t really understand where all this criticism is coming from,” Pritzker said. “What’s the big deal? I get that it might be harder decide which of your mansions you want to quarantine in, but after you decide there is nothing to worry about.”

“Just make sure your servants stay 6 feet away at all times, and if you have company over make sure they retreat to the guest house.”

When pressed on the idea that many Illinoisans could be losing their jobs right now, Pritzker assured reporters he is keeping all his housekeepers and even his personal driver on staff.
