Vice President Kamala Harris’ recent visit to the border has led to a bold immigration policy decision: It’s time to wall off Canada.

Harris did not specify which border she was visiting, but after spending some time between North Dakota and Saskatchewan she has confirmed she is taking this crisis very seriously and agrees it’s time to get tough on immigration.

“It truly is a crisis, and it’s a situation we’re taking very seriously,” Harris told reporters outside a Tim Hortons. “The politeness, the poutine, the moose. It’s clear we need to strengthen this border to protect our nation.”

Construction is already underway on a border fence from Washington state to Maine. Consistent with their polite nature, Canadians have already agreed not to try and climb the fence.
