Despite the mildness of the new Omicron variant, Dr. Anthony Fauci is encouraging people to hoard toilet paper just in case.
“You can never be too sure,” Fauci said on CNN Tuesday. “While right now this variant does not seem too deadly, you may still have to poop quite a bit in the coming months. With or without the vaccine, with or without the booster, with or without COVID, you may get the runs. Local Walgreens, CVS, Target and other department stores have confirmed they are now running low on toilet paper.
