An area man who began watching CNN’s impeachment coverage around 8 a.m. Wednesday and has yet to stop is reportedly beginning to question every life decision he’s ever made.
Tom Wurston, who for at least two years has been watching CNN waiting for what he calls a “smoking gun” against Trump, watched the statements of every signal member of the House Wednesday and was planning to do with the same with the Senate. But he’s had a change of heart.
“I don’t know what the hell I’ve been doing,” Wurston said. “I was watching congressman after congressman talk either about saving the republic or calling the impeachment a partisan sham, and it all just hit me. I’m wasting my life. I could be doing so many other things.
Wurston has since opened the shades in his home – blinding himself briefly by the sunlight – and is considering starting to see a therapist.
