Many are speculating that hiding under the covers could mean added protection against coronavirus, and research doesn’t directly refute that.

The CDC has so far declined to comment on whether or not hiding under your bed covers can help combat coronavirus, giving hope to this theory. There is no telling how many additional lives can be saved if more people spent time hiding under the covers, in large part because the CDC won’t say how many, if at all.

The CDC has not responded to multiple Hamster requests for comment, but independent research so far have shown people spending added time hiding under the covers are less likely to come in contact with anything at all. The Hamster will update once there is confirmation.
