Democratic Party leaders, as well as cable news talking heads, are wondering and unsure if Congresswoman and presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard is really just a filthy Russian stooge.
The inquiry developed after 2016 Democratic nominee Hilary Clinton said that Gabbard was being groomed to be a “Russian asset.” Many in the party and in the news media were split on if they agreed, noting that they have some respect for Gabbard even if they won’t deny the allegations.
“Look, I respect her service to the country,” Lawrence O’Donnell said in a conversation with Ezra Klein on his show allegedly airing in the evenings. “But that’s not to say there isn’t some weight to the idea of her being a filthy, treasonous Russian stooge and pawn of the Kremlin. Both can be true.”
Some Democrats are also toying with the idea that Marianne Williamson is a Chinese double agent.
