A long-deceased Chicago voter has mailed in his ballot in plenty of time, he told the Velvet Hamster Wednesday, making sure his vote counts early and often.

“This is the most important election of our lifetime,” Ronald Barmes, 1820-1904, said. “Well, your lifetime. If I was alive, my lifetime too. Vote early, vote often.”

Before returning to the cometary, Barmes picked up a few more ballots to vote in other precincts, congressional districts and potentially other states if they allow it. He was last seen floating downtown in an “I Voted” sticker.
