Conservatives losing their Twitter and Facebook accounts have flocked in large numbers to their last resort, the dating app Grindr.
Thousands of conservative accounts felt constricted or were deplatformed on Twitter, Facebook and elsewhere in recent days and were looking for a home. While they weren’t much familiar with Grindr before joining, it is the only option left.
“Who needs Twitter? I think we’ve found a good free speech alternative,” Sen. Ted Cruz told the Hamster shortly before joining. “I’m not really sure how this works – I just keep swiping – but Big Tech has gone too far and it was time for a new medium.”
Cruz, Sen. Josh Hawley and the Buffalo guy are said to be enjoying the app but so far have no matches.
