After just a few days in existence, CNN admitted defeat and has shut down its failed streaming app Brian Stelter+
Originally promised as “Brian Stelter around the clock, on demand,” the app gained fewer than a dozen subscribers before the network ultimately decided it was losing money trying to keep it going. Media experts have wondered if CNN was out of touch by launching this, but Stelter said Monday evening that it was in fact mainly the fault of the right-wing media and podcasters.
