While restrictions potentially tightening back up, the Centers for Disease Control is reminding everyone that masks on your face are still needed if equipped with a gun while robbing a bank.
Many are seeing this as inconsistent with news not long ago that masks are no longer needed outdoors if vaccinated. However, the CDC is specifying that the masks are really only needed once you also grab a gun, hold up a bank teller and steal thousands of dollars.
“This does not mean you have to wear the mask all the time,” the CDC said in a new report. “But even if you’re vaccinated, we strongly encourage wearing a mask when also threatening someone’s life and stealing money that isn’t yours. Otherwise it is not safe.”
These recent inconsistencies are increasing skepticism in masks.
