Atlanta Braves outfielder Jim Crow has been deemed ineligible for this year’s Major League Baseball All-Star Game due to his steroid use, which has been criticized by everyone all the way up to the president of the United States.
Crow’s season had been extremely controversial already, but President Joe Biden calling him out on his steroid use was the final straw for MLB to ban him from the All-Star Game.
“This guy Jim Crow, he’s on steroids,” Biden said. “He’s like the Jim Crow of old – weak hitter, some speed, average defense – but on steroids. I mean, c’mon man. Just look at him. He’s huge.”
