A visibly frustrated – though motivated – Bugs Bunny expressed his excitement for a new beginning with the New Orleans Pelicans Monday, though he admitted he was ready to exact revenge against LeBron James and his old team.

On Saturday, the Los Angeles Lakers traded guards Lonzo Ball and Josh Hart, forward Brandon Ingram, three first round draft picks and the rights to Tune Squad guard Bugs Bunny in exchange for star big man Anthony Davis. Bugs was disappointed the trade took place so close to production on Space Jam 2, but is ready to help his new team compete for a championship.

“Between me, Zion and the rest of the guys, I think we have a solid group,” Bugs said at a press conference Monday with Pelicans Vice President of Basketball Operations David Griffin. “But every time we go against LeBron I’m gonna turn it up a notch.”

The Pelicans are expected to engage Bugs in discussions about a long-term extension.
