In earth shattering news, the St. Louis Cardinals were caught stealing camera equipment from the Houston Astros that the Astros used to steal signs.

In a despicable showing of blatantly cheating, the Cardinals were said to have hacked into the Astros’ video library to ultimately steal entire cameras worth of footage the Astros used to steal signs. Baseball fans were outraged the Cardinals would stoop to these levels, and the league is conducting an investigation to see the appropriate next steps.

“We are doing our due diligence to see how far the wrongdoing went,” Commissioner Rob Manfred said. “One thing is for certain: The allegation is startling. We can’t have one team stealing equipment another team is using to steal signs.”

The league as of now is expected to do nothing.
